Good news – or should we say la bonne nouvelle? Embeddable player multi-language support is now available to all Captivate podcasters!
Imagine if there was an embeddable podcast player that translated its interface into your listener’s language.
Well, now there is with Captivate’s embeddable player!
Lots of our podcasters told us that they would like increased language support within the player in order to make their podcast more accessible to their listeners.
As we know, there are now over 1 million podcasts spanning 175 countries and over 100 languages. This new feature is a step in the right direction in terms of making Captivate a more accessible, inclusive platform, as well as making your content more widely available to audiences all over the world!
From today, the interface on your custom embeddable Captivate podcast player will auto-translate itself into:
- Dutch
- Portuguese
- Spanish
- German
- Polish
- Italian
- French
The language used will automatically correspond with your listener’s device settings. How fancy is that?!
We’ve started with these languages because they were most requested by members of our podcasting community. If you have a language that you would like support for, non c’è problema (that’s no problem in Italian, don’t you know.) Let us know right here and we’ll get that added for you, pronto 👍
